Virtual Sports Day!
Thank you for taking part in our first ever Virtual Sports Day! We have loved seeing all your photos and videos and seeing your new Personal Bests! Well done everyone who took part - you are all winners! You have used your creativity to find suitable resources and equipment from in your house, and you have challenged yourself to do your best and to improve on this, even when you thought you couldn't do any better. If you haven't seen it already, you are all invited to the vitrual medal ceremony below!
If you haven't been able to participate in sports day yet you can find the Full Sports Day video here. Or oyu can head over to our Dunkirk Primary School YouTube Channel to find each of the events separately. Don't forget to watch the safety briefing first!
We hope you had an enjoyable day and that you will revisit some of these activities over the summer holidays, either because you want to improve your scores or simply because you had fun doing them!
Here are the results for the day! There are also some children we have given special mentions to, either because they narrowly missed a medal position or because they submitted photos which made us smile, or they challenged their teachers to additional activities. There were more of these than we have credited because we could only name those children for whom we have permission to publish their name on the website. So we would like to take this opportunity to thank every single person who took part, submitted scores and/or shared with us their experiences of the day. Thank you all for being part of the first ever (only?) Dunkirk Virtual Sports Day!
