Building relationships with wider professionals

Children at Dunkirk had a wonderful day welcoming back our lovely PCSO Lucy and meeting police officer Katie!

The children got the opportunity to learn about the jobs police officers do, how police officers keep us safe and they even got to try on their uniform!

Building positive relationships with wider professionals is so important for our pupils as it helps support their safeguarding education in knowing who safer strangers are. It is also crucial that our pupils see our local police force, not as something punitive, but supportive, friendly and safe. Not only that, they are great role models for the children.

The children were absolutely delighted when PCSO Lucy returned: "You promised you would come back and teach us some more and you did!"

A huge thankyou to @radfordrdcops and the amazing work that you are doing with our pupils!
