Breaking News- Clay reptiles discovered in Dunkirk Discovery Garden!
Dunkirk five year old children have been to the Discovery Garden and been amazed at the appearance of several clay reptiles hiding in the undergrowth.
Here is the explanation. Madrono class have been investigating habitats and different types of animals. Last week they learnt about key features of Reptiles and worked together to make some from clay. There are several new members of Madrono class and these activities help create new friendships.
they were not given a piece of clay until they could define the characteristics of a reptile and say how they differ from mammalian characteristics.
Take a look in the Gallery at what was created, where they all ended up 'living' AND how much fun the class had working on this task.
