Dunkirk Primary School

Tree planting

Oak Class planted 30 willow trees to make a long willow tunnel. They will enjoy watching it grow.

The children of Dunkirk Primary School know how important trees are. They know they give us oxygen. They know they absorb our CO2. They had so much fun planting willow shoots and will watch them grow. They also enjoyed going through the willow tree tunnel on their 'Bear Hunt' (or in our case a 'Mini-beast hunt' based on the recent new film, 'We're all going on a Bear Hunt'. Check out in the Gallery.
