    This term we have been learning about Amelia Earhart and her attempt to fly around the world. We were inspired by her voyage and decided to paint a view that she might have seen when flying over tropical islands near Papua New Guinea (where she was last seen). We experimented with different ways to create texture in our painting using salt, tissue and cling film.

  • Disovery Garden

    Oak class have been able to spend time outside exploring the discovery garden. They've enjoyed being able to do some digging and preparing the garden ready for planting. We linked our time in the garden with our science topic - plants and living things. We were preparing the soil for the beans which we have been growing in the classroom.
