We have all recently discovered a new story that we love called The Bear and the Piano. To practise their diary writing, the class had a go at writing a diary imagining they were the bear from the story who travelled to the city and became a famous performer. Their independent writing was excellent and lots of children added in adjectives and adverbs into their work.
