Developing our mathematical skills starts the minute we being at nursery! Developing a deep understanding of early number and shape skills are essential to successful maths careers further up through school! We do not rush the children to learn mathematical concepts, but instead develop and foster a fascination of number and number sense, embedding mathematical vocabulary and the core mathematical principles of counting, comparison and cardinality alongside spatial awareness, shape, pattern and measuring.
