Our Geography-based lessons this term have helped the children to learn about certain features of the world, such as the names of the oceans and major continents. We have focussed on the important subject of pollution and how, we as humans, must try to do our best to take care of our planet and reduce the amount of pollution we make. The children have begun to understand about electric vehicles in comparison to those that use petrol and diesel and create harmful pollution.   

We learnt about the city of Lahore in Pakistan and how heavily polluted it is. We then compared this to the city of Nottingham and carried out a simple traffic survey outside our school building.
