  • Clay art

    During art lessons with Mrs Wise, we learnt how to create a person using wires and clay.  To start with, we had to decide which pose we wanted our model to take.  Then we built wire frames by wrapping the wires tightly together and cutting away any extra pieces.  Once the skeleton was created, we then covered the frames in layers of clay, which then dried and hardened and our person was complete!

  • Victorian fairground rides

    For DT, we designed and built our own Victorian fairground rides.  We had to use many skills in order to build these.  We used art skills to sketch our ideas; maths skills to measure and plan the project; DT skills to cut, build and generate our rides; and science skills helped us to produce the electric circuit!  Take a look at the photos showing the different rides we created.
