  • Science experiments

    We have had a great time doing lots of science experiments.  We made and flew paper aeroplanes to see how far they would fly.  We designed and made boats to see which would float.  We constructed electrical circuits to see if we could make a bulb light.  You are always very curious Jesse Owens so science experiments are a lot of fun with some amazing learning going on too!

  • DT - Making an apple crumble

    Jesse Owens were learning to peel and chop safely during our cooking project.  We were using the 'claw' and 'bridge' grip when chopping the apples.  Great work Jesse Owens!

    A great trip to Trent Vineyard learning all about the Easter story.  The children took part in mini workshops to explain the different parts of the Easter story.

  • Mini Olympic Fun!

    Mini Olympics to raise money for the Richard Whitehead Foundation.  

    Jesse Owens shone when competing and won The Spirit of the Games award. We have a trophy in our classroom.  Well done Jesse Owens!
